Brasilians' experience

Last wednesday we did a cultural exchage with brasilians students.
The first part of this culturan exchange was absoutly GREAT! Spanish students teach Brasilian students to speak some word in spanish whereas they taught us some words in brasilian..Afterwards we played some dialogues in our taught language!! It was so funy!
When we finished that we were divided in 5 diferents groups in order to learn more about Brasil, in my grop we talk about love and marriage and we were talking about some diferences between both contries.

My first steps in Vancouver

It's only a very quick text which I'm going to write now, the principal reason of being such small it's because I have no time but the main reason It's becaouse I just want to show you some photos about my firts steps here. There are photos of DONWTONW and also of GRAND VILLE ISLAND!!

Me&My arrive

Hy everybody!!

I'm Marta, I'm a Spanish student who have just arrive in Vancouver, I'm going to stay here for a month in a homestay.

I introduce myself first. I´m 17 years old, Im from Zaragoza, a lovely city between Madrid and Barcelona, in Spain. I am in my high school already and I dont know which Im going to study at University but I dont worry about it!! I love pop-rock american music, but however when I go out I love dancing reaggeton or dance music with my friends. I LOVE GOING out in satdurday night and it may be my fauvorite hobby, although I like going shopping, meeting new people, makeing friends, but the thing i like best is TRAVELLING!!!

I arrived yesterday in this great city so I can't tell you a lot about it but I'm going to explain how my homestay is, and also my frist impression.

My family here is very kind and I'm not alone at home because I'm with two students more, one of them is from Japon whereas the other is form Korea. I met yesterday at nitgh while I had dinner and they seem to be very friendly and cheerful girls.

Probably you were tinking why I chose Vancouver, why now and why only for a month, so I'm gonna explain you a bit. I have come because all the group of spanish students who are here, have got a grant from the Goverment of our region which allow us to go abroad in order to improve our english, we haven't be able to choose where to go neither the period of time of staying, but I am really keen on being in VANCOUVER!!!! i THINK IT'S THE BEST CHOICE!!!I have said that becauase, for example, other students are in Tornto and another gruop in Hamilton, but I prefer Vancouver althoug I dont know the reason....

To sum up, I exicted to discover how lovely is Vancouver and also I would like to meet people from diferents countries of the world during this journey.
